Sea Moss: Irish Sea Moss contains 92 minerals and is very nutrient-dense. It is used as a cold remedy and for respiratory ailments, and to help balance thyroid hormones. Irish Sea Moss contains organically bound iodine compounds DI-Iodothyronine (DIT), thyroid hormones Thyroxin (T4), Tri-iodothyronine (T3). It is extremely high in iodine, and a potent potassium chloride source to help with catarrh, phlegm, soothes inflammation, helps common cold congestion, pneumonia, and bronchitis.
Bladderwrack: Bladderwrack is a type of seaweed that’s rich in vitamins and minerals, such as calcium, iodine, magnesium, potassium, sodium, zinc, and vitamins A and C. Also rich in antioxidants, many people believe that bladderwrack’s impressive nutrient profile can provide health benefits. It’s also high in phytochemicals. These health-promoting plant compounds, which include phlorotannins and fucoxanthin, may help lower oxidative stress — an imbalance between free radical and antioxidant levels in your body.
Bladderwrack contains high levels of iodine, a trace element that supports thyroid health by producing the thyroid hormones triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). These hormones help regulate your metabolism and support proper growth and neurological development.
It also is used for obesity, arthritis, joint pain, hardening of arteries (arteriosclerosis), digestive disorders, heartburn, blood cleansing, constipation, bronchitis, emphysema, urinary tract infections, and anxiety.

Why are tinctures a preferred method of taking herbs? Because tinctures are potent! You don’t waste your money on pills that have been in the manufacturing process for months / years and lose potency! With an alcohol base, the tinctures pull out all the medicinal benefits of the plant, and preserve them naturally for you! They don’t lose potency over time.
With that being said, they are in a non-gmo vodka base. Which is fine for most people. But some people prefer to avoid alcohol in all forms. (even by avoiding real vanilla extract) and we support that choice. These tinctures aren’t for those people. Because of the potential for bacteria to reside in glycerine tinctures, we have decided to only offer vodka based tinctures. These herbs are edible and considered safe for most people. Some people may be allergic to certain herbs and should not use them. It is always best to consult your doctor before using any herbal product if you are taking prescription medications or have a health condition.
