Elderberry Elixir Immune Formula Tincture
This Elderberry Elixir is an amazing immune boosting formula. It is made of high quality herbs, some of which I have grown myself. Most people are familiar with elderberry syrup. This is not a syrup. It is a tincture that had the medicinal benefits of the plants extracted in vodka. As a result, it is VERY POTENT. Much more potent than elderberry syrup! And, it does not need to be kept in the fridge. It will last much longer than elderberry syrup as well. This would be great to take with our Cold and Flu formula.

Elderberry: Elderberry has been scientifically recognized as an effective treatment for colds & flu, and some findings imply that Elderberry has direct virus inhibiting actions on the level of the cell membrane.
Moringa: Moringa is full of antioxidants and vitamins, but also is anti-viral and anti-bacterial. Nutrients include but are not limited to: Iron, Beta Carotene, Vitamin E, essential amino acids, calcium, vitamin K, antioxidants, vitamin C.
Rose Hips: Rose hip contains a number of important antioxidants (including vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene, and lycopene) that are beneficial to your health. Alternative practitioners also believe that rose hips can prevent or treat a wide range of gastrointestinal and inflammatory symptoms.
Herbal tinctures as medicine
Why are tinctures a preferred method of taking herbs? Because tinctures are potent! You don’t waste your money on pills that have been in the manufacturing process for months / years and lose potency! With an alcohol base, the tinctures pull out all the medicinal benefits of the plant, and preserve them naturally for you! They don’t lose potency over time.
With that being said, they are in a non-gmo vodka base. Which is fine for most people. But some people prefer to avoid alcohol in all forms. (even by avoiding real vanilla extract) and we support that choice. These tinctures aren’t for those people. Because of the potential for bacteria to reside in glycerine tinctures, we have decided to only offer vodka based tinctures. These herbs are edible and considered safe for most people. Some people may be allergic to certain herbs and should not use them. It is always best to consult your doctor before using any herbal product if you are taking prescription medications or have a health condition.
INGREDIENTS: Elderberry, Moringa, Rose Hips and Non-GMO Vodka
DIRECTIONS: Take 10 drops 1x per day in juice or tea either as a preventive to boost your immune system, or 20-30 drops 2-3x per day when you are sick. You can take directly in your mouth if you can handle the taste. Kids 3-11 take half the dose. Kids under 3 take 1/4 the dose.
