appendicitis
Hello~!!

Last week I had been having a lot of abdominal pain and after a few days it got to be unbearable so I went to the ER last Friday night. After 4 hours I finally was seen and had to get a CT scan -- the doctor came in and said that I had appendicitis, and they were worried about it rupturing (since it took me days to go to the doctor). So they went ahead and admitted me to the OR and at around 2am Saturday (Oct 7th) I met with the surgeon and anesthesiologist. I remember the anesthesiologist but really only met the surgeon for about 2 minutes before, and then he came to my hospital room around 9am for about 3 minutes.... he was the head surgeon at the hospital and apparently it was his time to be on duty so I felt comfortable. I wasn't worried about the actual surgery... I explained that if I had a choice I wanted it done laparoscopically, and I was very worried about the general anesthesia. I had never been under before. Well, I told myself I was going to say my affirm... more

My sister's visit
Good morning!

My sister came to the twin cities on Thursday for a business trip to meet with Target Corporation. She stayed a couple extra days to visit with me. We had a bonfire at my house on Friday night and went shopping on Saturday (yuck). Saturday night we went to Comedy Sportz in uptown, but Steve did NOT have fun. He doesn't like improv, though the rest of us had a blast. Here is a picture of Suzy and I that Steve took before we left.

I have a potential new retail customer for my detox foot pads and my skin potion. I can't wait. I hope to find out by tomorrow, it will be a local day spa that focuses on natural healing and auto immune disorders like fibromyalgia, lupus, chronic fatigue. It also helps with cancer patient treatments and some of the spa services are reflexology, acupuncture, and energy healing.

Be sure to stock up on your detox foot pads!! The more you purchase the cheaper they are!

Cheerio!
Rebecca :)

Here is what I did for HER birthday last week
Sam's birthday was last Thursday (HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY SAM). She is my best friend out here in Minnesota, and we also work together. If you want to see the video of this, you can view it here:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1523130557228625548&hl=en

It should be quite funny, if you care to watch the whole length of it.

I have water in my basement again and am getting quotes on getting that fixed, and also getting quotes on painting my house (outside) and also pouring concrete for new steps, 2 new driveways and a patio. I tell ya concrete is EXPENSIVE. holy smokes!

But after it is done, I will be in a much better position. I can't wait. So a lot of changes in the next couple months...

Continue using the foot pads! They work wonders. I have been lax at detoxing this summer, but have started again and boy, what a difference it makes, even after only 2 months of not wearing them consistently. And my Natural Cellular Defense rarely stays ... more

Camping
We are going camping this weekend, AND I got a roommate! I have an empty room in my house and figured that there was someone out there who could use it, so I was lucky enough to find a girl who is finishing her Master's Degree and needed a room for the semester. Perfect! She is student teaching -- high school social studies!! And it should be fun. Her name is Becky! That is what my family calls me...

I will post some pictures of camping probably Sunday or Monday next week, after we get back.

I got a headboard for my bed, I bought it on Craigslist, I am addicted to that website. It is where I find my renters for my condo (by the way I have new renters moving in today!! Woohoo!) and also I search for some good deals on furniture. So I got this heavy solid oak headboard with shelves and lights and all the works. For pretty cheap. Well, I got it home and Steve and some kids in the neighborhood tried moving it upstairs but it wouldn't fit!! My house was built in the 1940s... more

Steve's Motorcycle and My Checks
Hello everyone!

I wanted to include a picture of Steve's motorcycle, as I have been learning how to be a passenger and hanging on for dear life. I have a helmet that matches his motorcycle as I know color coordination is important!! hehe. It isn't as scary as I had thought it would be, and I was against him getting a motorcycle to begin with, but now I really think it was a good idea, especially with gas prices what they are these days.

I also want to tell you that I can laugh at myself. I do some really stupid things sometimes. I was cleaning and organizing, throwing out some things that I didn't need anymore, like old checks from previous addresses. I knew I just ran out of checks in my checkbooks and had some upstairs but then had another set downstairs. I assumed the ones upstairs were the correct ones... so I went downstairs and started ripping up the checks before I threw them out. Then I went upstairs and opened the box up there and realized it was the old set.... more

New Building
Here is a picture of me in the Everglades last year -- we had a girls trip, 5 of us girls went to the Florida Keys for a week, and then we hit the Everglades and went to visit the Alligators!

Waytek, where I work during my day job as marketing manager, has announced that we are expanding so rapidly that we will be moving next Spring to a new building. The groundbreaking will be in September. It is about 5 miles west of where we are located currently, adding to my morning commute. However, it is exciting. When I first started working here we maybe had 35 employees. This was 4 years ago. Now we have over 50 and our revenues have doubled.

Some goofy guys in the office started a 'wish list' for the new facilities. I thought it deserved some attention because it was quite hilarious, so I wanted to share it with you:

WISH LIST FOR NEW FACILITIES
Soundproof room for Scott
Swimming Pool
Bowling Alley
Mini-Golf
Food Court (next to wet bar)
Cana... more

Someone's gonna need detox foot pads soon!!
Here is a picture of my youngest niece, Esperanza. She is 2 years old and her favorite food is Hamburgers with double cheese... Never too late to start the youngun's on foot pads, in fact you only need to use one foot pad, it covers their whole foot!!! Start them detoxing while they are young and you will avoid them getting many of the childhood sicknesses and be amazed that when the rest of their classmates come down with the flu, they are still full of energy and health!!

I had a wonderful weekend! Visited my friend Joey and after church today spent the rest of the day with Steve. He is watching his neighbor's pitbull while he is on vacation, so we have been taking 'crystal' on walks. She is a very timid dog, we think that before his neighbor got him that she was somewhat abused. Right now she is neglected, never gets out to play or to just be a dog.... So, since one of Steve's favorite shows is 'The Dog Whisperer' he thinks he is Cesar Ramirez (is that the correct spelling?... more

Mini Me and my trip to Utah
I wanted to post a picture of me and my nieces. This image is of Haley (8) myself, and Jessica (6). Jessica looks almost identical to me when I was her age, except my hair was a lot blonder. In so many ways we are alike!

I had a fun time with my family out in Utah. It seems like everyone is migrating there from California, I now only have 2 siblings in my immediate family still in California. I visited my parents up in northern Utah, and also my 8 month pregnant sister!! I will have a nephew for the first time, in about a month. I have 9 nieces, so this will be a treat for the whole family!

I also saw my friend Stephanie, who is designing some logos for me for Purify Your Body. I am getting some product logos created for the ozonated olive oil that I am going to start selling shortly. I gave her some detox foot pads to try and also some of the ozonated olive oil, she loves it!

While I was gone Steve came over and spent most of the weekend working on my yard,... more
